Science and the general public are exploring new ways to live the experience as the medical marijuana industry continues to leave its mark in the field of medicine. Cannabidiol, or CBD, has become a highly reputed form of alternative medicine and has gained a lot of influence in the marijuana industry for medical purposes.
CBD is a cannabis compound that many believe has medical benefits, but does not appear to be high. In fact, this can effectively counter the psychoactivity of THC. This makes it an attractive alternative for treating problems such as inflammation, anxiety, convulsions, arthritis, post-traumatic stress, epilepsy, etc.
We are even exploring its anti-cancer properties. The fact that science has suggested that CBD can be safely consumed even in high doses is another plus.
Whether you are a bather or prefer a more efficient shower time, it is undeniable that having an hour to devote to a luxury bath consisting of heat and bubbles can be a great way to relax.
What are cannabinoids?
Cannabinoids are a large class of chemical compounds produced by the cannabis plant. Scientists have identified more than 113 different cannabinoids in the marijuana plant. Each interacts with the endocannabinoid system in different ways. Cannabinoids interact with the endocannabinoid system via CB1 and CB2 receptors.
This modifies the cellular functions in the body to create a range of different effects. The endocannabinoid system is a key mediator of homeostasis, or balance, of the body. Most of the cannabinoid compounds found in marijuana are non-psychoactive. This means that do not produce a euphoric when consumed. THC is one of the few cannabinoids in the plant that causes high concentration.
What are CBD bath bombs?
Have you ever dreamed of a home spa? CBD bath bombs are your all-in-one solution, providing ultimate relaxation and relief from physical tension, topped with a colorful sparkle of aromatic bubbly. If you have never seen bath bombs before, they are small “bombs” that turn into sparkling scenes when they fall into the water. Often, they contain essential oils and other agents offering a multitude of benefits and a body care experience.
What is the type of CBD in these bath bombs?
Cannabidiol, also known as CBD, is one of the two best-known cannabinoids found in the cannabis plant. Unlike tetrahydrocannabinol (THC), CBD does not induce the so-called common effect so commonly associated with smoking grass. Unlike THC, CBD is legal in America and has become an extremely desirable substance as a medicinal substance that can potentially relieve many symptoms!
How do the CBD bath bombs work?
A unique combination of baking soda (sodium bicarbonate), citric acid, Epsom salts (magnesium sulfate) and natural and organic dyes produces the iconic sparkle caused by bath bombs. In general, bath bombs contain additives such as essential oils that also act as aromatherapy agents and nourishing agents that act directly on the skin.
In the case of CBD-based bath bombs, cannabidiol (CBD), a component of non-psychoactive cannabis, is one of the additives added to the product. CBD has remarkable healing properties, ranging from anxiolytic properties to powerful pain relief.
Bath bombs have a new method of ingesting CBD: absorption through open pores because of the heat of the bath. This allows CBD to reach the bloodstream faster than topical applications and, more importantly, to penetrate the skin throughout the body rather than into a small area. CBD interacts with the system in a light manner, to induce some of the stabilizing effects of internal cannabinoids (called endocannabinoids).
CBD also interacts with many other neuronal systems, such as:
- Serotonin (the hormone of “happiness”)
- Dopamine (the reward chemical)
- GABA (inhibition and relaxation)
- The hippocampus, which controls emotions and memory
The total action caused by a bath bomb with CBD will induce benefits such as:
- Inflammation due to injuries such as mosquito and spider bites, ingrown toenails and infections
- Arthritis pain
- Body tension
- Sore muscles
- Relief of cramps and muscle spasms

What is CBN?
Cannabinol is one of the least known cannabinoids found in marijuana. Even in this case, it is an important part of the plant. Unlike THC, CBC / Radio-Canada produces very minor, if any, psychoactive effects. Indeed, the CBN molecules do not integrate very well into the CB1 receptors of the brain. It also has trouble binding to CB2 receptors, but binds better to CB2 receptors than to CB1 receptors. The use of CBD oil products has generated a lot of excitement in our fibromyalgia community.
We did a lot of research and asked for feedback from members of our community. Two things have become obvious to us: 1-the reactions of those who have tried CBD oils have been extremely positive, and 2-there is still a lot of confusion and misinformation about these products.
Below you will find five important facts about CBD oil products that our community would find useful and informative.
CBD (abbreviation of cannabidiol) is one of 85 chemical compounds known as cannabiniods that are all found in the cannabis plant. CBD can be extracted in the form of marijuana oil or hemp, which both belong to the cannabis genus. Marijuana-based CBD oil is still legal in most states where it is a Schedule I drug. On the other hand, hemp-based CBD oil is currently legal in some countries. the 50 states because it is extracted from hemp and not from marijuana.
CBD products will not make you hover. THC is the psychoactive ingredient in marijuana that produces effects such as feeling “strong” or anxious or paranoid. CBD is non-psychoactive, so you will not be bothered. Studies have suggested that CBD counteracts anxiety or paranoia that can be caused by THC. Since CBD hemp oil products contain no or very little THC, it is unlikely (but not impossible) that a person who consumes them will obtain a positive result for THC in the context of a standard screening test.
CBD products come in many forms, including drops (tinctures), capsules, vape oils, gummy and topical creams. Based on feedback we received from community members, drops were the most popular, with capsules being the second most popular form for personal use.
The effectiveness of CBD as a treatment option against medical diseases and conditions has not been scientifically proven by US FDA standards. In addition, CBC products are not regulated by the FDA. We expect there will be more research and scientific studies on CBC / Radio-Canada in the near future, as the number of people using these products continues to grow.
The quality of hemp products sold online by CBC may vary. Those looking to try CBD products should make sure they buy them from a reputable company because there are scams. In each of the past two years, the FDA has sent warning letters to some companies that mislabelled its CBC products and sold products with little or no CBD.
